Each year at our annual meeting our Chapter hosts a raffle and silent auction to raise funds to support the Chapter’s mission. Proceeds from the annual fundraiser support our aquatic education outreach projects, student scholarships, habitat restoration projects, and continuing education workshops.
Donors are critical to the success of our Chapter’s annual fundraiser. Donations can be made from businesses, organizations, or individuals. Examples of items which can be donated for our raffle/silent auction: hats, books, t-shirts, cookware, outdoor camping/hiking equipment, fishing reels/rods, lures, fish finders, miscellaneous fishing gear, tickets/gift certificates to events/museums/aquariums/etc., knives, pictures, artwork, pottery, Georgia Grown products, kayak/whitewater rafting trips, backpacks, restaurant gift cards, coolers, trail cams, and guided fishing trips, etc.
Since we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, all donations are tax-deductible.
